Colours of Jazz returns to R&J

Back by popular demand at R&J Restaurant at The Reverie Saigon will be the ‘Colours of Jazz’ live music series. 

Renowned jazz singer Trebeka will perform every Tuesday to Sunday night from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, with her stylish mix of jazz standards and original material. A multi-talented performer, Trebeka was born in France into a family with roots in Africa, Europe and Asia. She has worked with artists including Stephanie Mills, Catherine Lara, Cheb Mami and Lonnie Plaxico, to name but a few. She was signed to publisher Warner Chappell as a songwriter, and recorded her album Willow Weep For Me in New York City with Plaxico serving as producer and musical director. 

A dedicated professional, Trabeka performs more than 300 shows a year, and has worked in USA, Middle East, Europe, Asia, Latin America and more. ‘Colours of Jazz’ marks the first time she will entertain audiences in Ho Chi Minh City. Jazz critic Nicole J. Rhodes has said of her: “Talented, sophisticated and charismatic, if Sade had a sister her name would be Trebeka.”

Also debuting at R&J is the new cigar lounge on the mezzanine level. Open from 5:00pm until midnight every day, the lounge boasts the same enticing menu available in all other areas of R&J and an impeccable selection of cigars from Cuba and other noted cigar-producing nations. Highlights include the majestic Cohiba Robusto, Monte Cristo No. 2, and the Romeo Y Julietta No. 1.
