The best of Italian cuisine @ The Reverie Saigon

This November, a unique gathering of top Italian chefs will descend on The Reverie Saigon to delight diners with creations celebrating the best of traditional Italian fare.

On 20 November at the hotel’s R&J Italian Lounge & Restaurant, diners can explore this diverse cuisine with dishes from the Italian Alps to the coastal specialties of Naples, and experience a feast of the best recipes that Italian kitchens have to offer from six award-winning Italian chefs and one special dish overseen by the Italian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Dante Brandi. The celebratory atmosphere will be complemented by a live musical performance from a well-known Italian Mezzotono band.

The seven-course dinner is priced at just 1,588,000++ per person or 2,588,000++ with paired wine. Some of the featured dishes include lobster fregola, rigatoni with Pecorino Romano and black pepper, snapper with organic cherry tomato and gold Taggiasca oil, and guinea fowl with truffle ‘vincotta’.

Meanwhile, on 21 and 22 November at The Long @ Times Square, savour award-winning pizza from master pizzaiolo Gianni Di Lella. Delight in authentic Italian flavours featuring imported ingredients including San Marzano tomatoes and San Felice flour prepared by this world champion pizza maker.

Some of the fabulous pizza pies on offer include the D’alba with DOP peeled tomato, porcini mushroom and winter truffle; the Gamberi with prawns, sun-dried tomato and Pantelleria capers; and the Parma, with Casa Rinaldi Parma ham, burrata cheese and lemon zest. Prices range between VND 208,000++ to VND 488,000++.
