Vietnam House To Host Bespoke Set Dinner Menu To Celebrate Its First Anniversary

From 23 to 27 July, the restaurant will be hosting a special anniversary 4-course set dinner menu priced at 1,288,000 per person, which includes a welcome glass of Watermelon Bellini. The menu features Octopus Terrine, Iberico Pork Rib, Alaskan King Crab, and Crispy Banana. For the entire period of the celebration, a specially autographed menu with a photo of the award-winning Australian-Vietnamese chef will be presented to all diners, and Chef Luke will be there in person to welcome guests on the 24th and 27th.

As a special offer for any early bookings made by 20 July, guests will receive 15% off wines by the bottle.

The signature flavours and elegant presentation of the cuisine at Vietnam House has been key to the dazzling success of its first year. On Trip Advisor, the restaurant sits in the top 100 of more than 3,000 listed in Ho Chi Minh City, and has received 130 four and five star ratings resulting in an 88 percent positive review sentiment.

“It has been an amazing year and a lot of hard work, but by staying focused on our vision we have been able to create a new, higher level of experience for our guests,” Chef Luke said.

“By using only high-quality produce, making sure it is impeccably prepared and served in a stunning environment, I think we have been able to showcase a unique style of Vietnamese food,” he added.

Mr. Kai Speth, WMC Group Vice President Operations and Business Performance said the restaurant’s goal of becoming a ‘must experience’ venue for local gourmands and travellers alike had been more than achieved. “With what has been created at Vietnam House, I believe we have raised the bar for how Vietnamese cuisine is perceived and how it is experienced,” he said.

Vietnam House is located in a restored colonial building on the corner of Dong Khoi and Mac Thi Buoi in the heart of the city, which once housed the famed Café L’Imperial in the early 1900s and was a popular destination for the city’s affluent business class.
